Hello, My name is Wendy Vickrey. I am one of your new Ombudsmen. Before VFA-122, I was the Ombudsman for VFA-14 while
the squadron was deployed during the 2003 cruise.
I am a stay at home mother of three. I have been married to the Navy for over 13 years and lived in many states from one
coast to the other experiencing ALL types of changes.
I grew to understand the military life and am here to assist spouses with the same questions I had.
I am one person that knows from experience the unpredictable things that can occur during detachments and ever changing
schedules and I am very resourceful.
The Flying Eagles is a very big command with over 600 plus personnel and their mission are to train the Experts. My job
is to assist spouses in answering questions they may have while their military spouse is at work or on a detachment.
If I do not have the answer I WILL find it.
I will do my best to assist you within all my means.
